In a move that will mark Epic Games’ most serious bid to establish a business in Japan, the company is set to hold a closed-doors meeting with a number of the nation’s development studios.
Epic Games will officially open its new office in Japan at a launch event set for April 15. There, the Unreal Engine vendor will flaunt the benefits of licensing its leading tech.Unreal Engine 3.
Epic Games’ technical director Tim Sweeney will be flying over to deliver opening remarks, bringing with him a pre-recorded address from Epic design director Cliff Bleszinski and Epic Games president Mike Capps.
Special guests include Grasshopper CEO Goichi Suda who will unveil the Unreal-powered horror action title published by Electronic Arts.
