Alan Duncan leaves the games industry

Former SCE UK marketing director Alan Duncan has accepted a role at lettings specialist Upad.

The move signifies his departure from the games industry, a career that began in 1998 when he was hired by GT Interactive.

Duncan left Sony’s games team last month after 13 years with the PlayStation business. He was replaced by former Ubisoft marketing manager Murray Pannell.

I am thrilled to be joining the team at Upad,” Duncan said of the move. The idea that landlords are better at conducting property viewings than estate agents is essentially what Upad is built on.

My job is to extol the virtues of self-service online lettings through strategic planning and innovative thinking. They’re re-writing the rules in this highly competitive and rapidly expanding arena and this represents the perfect challenge for me.”
