Develop Award-nominated studio Amanita Design has announced two new point-and-click adventure projects, and has outlined plans to release work on platforms other tha Pc.
The Czech studio revealed it is working on Samorost 3 and new IP Botanicula.
At a GameCityNights event in Nottingham, the studio also discussed its interactive music video project, entitled Osada.
“We decided to create a sequel to our previous games because we like the universe and it’s open to many different ideas,” said Amanita founder Jakub Dvorský.
As explained in a CalsualGaming.biz report, Dvorský said the studio “wants to change approach in many ways” with the third Samorost game.
“Most importantly, the game will be much bigger, similar in scope to [recent release] Machinarium, and more polished.”
“We want to approach it like a music record. When you’ve heard it once, it still has a value the second time and third time,” Dvorský added.

Dvorský confirmed to CasualGaming.biz that Machinarium is already in production for PS3 and tablets, and hinted that their upcoming titles will follow.
