New OS expected to arrive this July

AMD lets slip Windows 10 release date

Microsoft’s launch of Windows 10 could be sooner than we thought, which may take place in July.

During AMD’s latest earnings call, according to AMD’s president and CEO Dr. Lisa Su, Windows 10 will launch at the end of July.

Su said, "With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."

Microsoft has already revealed that the software will arrive this summer in 190 countries and 111 languages, but no set date has been announced.
