Anthem made it to the top of the weekly charts for a second consecutive week, with sales for EA’s title decreasing 71 per cent week-on-week.
FIFA 19 and Far Cry New Dawn both dropped one spot respectively to No.2 and No.3, while Warner Bros’ The Lego Movie 2 Videogame debuted at No.4, with sales decreasing 83 per cent compared to launch sales for 2014’s The Lego Movie Videogame. Most of the sales for the title went to PS4 (59 per cent of the physical copies shifted went to Sony’s platform vs 41 per cent for Xbox One).
The PS4 also took most of Dirt Rally 2.0’s players – Codemaster’s follow up to Dirt Rally entered the charts at No.6 with 59 per cent of the physical copies going to PS4, 40 per cent to Xbox One and one per cent to PC. The title shifted 77 per cent less copies than 2016’s Dirt Rally.
Ubisoft’s Trials Rising: Gold Edition (which was the only edition of the game coming to retail and includes the base game and its expansion pass) debuted at No.10. The racing title had an interesting split between platforms – an almost even one – with 39 per cent of the copies going to PS4, 33 per cent going to Xbox One and 28 per cent going to Switch for what is the first outing of the series on a Nintendo platform.
Further down the charts, Koei Tecmo’s Dead or Alive 6 debuted at No.21. Back in 2012, Dead or Alive 5 debuted at No.11, selling 63 per cent more physical copies than the sixth entry did this time around.
