Apple linked to Kinect creator buyout

According to reports Apple is in the final stages of buying PrimeSense for $345m.

Some publicationsare already reporting that the acquisition has taken place while many others believe talks are still ongoing.

PrimeSense was the original supplier for Microsoft’s Kinect, which incorporated cameras and depth sensors so players can control Xbox games via gestures. Microsoft has since used its own technology for the new Kinect for Xbox One.
