Assassin’s Creed movie pushed back to 2016

Fox has delayed the movie adaptation of the Assassin’s Creed series.

The big screen adaptation of the hit Ubisoft video game franchise was scheduled to hit cinemas on August 7th 2015, but Fox insiders have toldThe Hollywood Reporterthat the film will now arrive in 2016.

The film, set to star Michael Fassbender, has been pushed back due to script rewrites and scheduling issues during production.
