BAFTA Scotland hosting diversity panel at Develop Live

Diversity is a key and ongoing discussion, both across the games industry and within games themselves.

Which is why Develop has teamed up with BAFTA Scotland to collect a panel of experts to consider the topic further at next week’s Develop Live conference.

In a session entitled ‘The BAFTA Scotland Panel: Changing the ratio’, UKIE CEO Dr Jo Twist will chair a discussion with Gina Jackson, acting managing director of the newly announced Next Gen Skills Academy, and Kate Ho, managing director of Tigerface Games and Interface3.

The trio will discuss the importance of diversity in the games industry and how it can be improved.

The BAFTA Scotland Panel is just one of 18 inspiring and informative sessions set for next week’s Develop Live conference, which takes place at The Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland on Thursday, October 2nd. You can find out more about the programme here.

Tickets cost £149, with discounts available for UKIE/TIGA/SGN members, students and independent developers (those with less than 10 employees). To apply for a discount code, email James.Batchelor@intentmedia.co.uk, or head to www.develop-live.com to book your place.

Develop Live is supported by event partners OPM Response and Abertay University. To find out more about sponsorship opportunities, contact Alex.Boucher@intentmedia.co.uk or call him on 01992 535647.
