2K Games had a big week at UK physical retail last week with two brand new titles in the Top 10.
BioShock: The Collection – a compilation of the original three BioShock games for PS4 and Xbox One – debuted at No.1 in the UK charts. Meanwhile the publisher’s basketball title, NBA 2K17, charted in third place in its first week on sale.
In second place this week was Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. Despite strong reviews for the football title, week one sales for PES are in fact three per cent down year-on-year. This year, PS4 and Xbox One made up 93 per cent of sales compared with just 86 per cent last year.
Further down the charts, new Microsoft IP ReCore debuted at fifth place in the All Formats rankings.
Blizzard’s Overwatch fell three places from No.1 to No.4 with a 17 per cent dip in sales, while the physical version of Rocket League holds steady at sixth place with a sales increase of eight per cent.
