Former film director Josef Fares and the team behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons have opened a brand new independent studio.
Named Hazelight Studios, the new developer is staffed by many of the people that worked on the popular 2013 co-op game and is already working on a new IP, according to IGN.
Hazelight’s first game was teased during the Game Awards in the US on Friday, although little is given away about the nature of the title. In a short teaser video, two men sit on a train moving through the countryside at night.
Whatever the title turns out to be, it will be published by Electronic Arts.
According to its website, Hazelight is focused on creating “story-driven experiences and innovation”, as well as titles that are “original, yet elegant and mature”.
