2K’s Evolve joins the huge number of games coming in October

The new shooter Evolve will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC during the busiest month of the year.

The 2K Games title arrives on October 21st worldwide. It joins an October line-up that already includes Alien Isolation, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age: Inquisition, DriveClub, Skylanders Trap Team and WWE 2K14.

Evolve is an multiplayer four versus one sci-fi shooter, with four players controlling soldiers and the fifth player taking the role of a monster.

Players who pre-order through selected retailers will also receive some DLC packs, featuring extra weapons and other such items.

The game will be shown at E3 and is developed by Turtle Rock, the original creators of Left 4 Dead.
