The 500 GB PS3 super slim is set to arrive in stores across India this week as a two-game bundle, Sony has announced.
Priced at Rs 19,990, the new 500 GB model will be bundled with Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Game of the Year Edition.
The price point remains the same as the 320 GB Move bundle, which it replaces, so those hoping for a price drop will be disappointed.
There’s still no word on the release date or price of the 12 GB PS3 though. It’s the lowest capacity PS3 yet and is expected to be priced significantly lower. An earlier Sony press release went so far as to label the pricing as affordable”; vague but positive.
MCV has received word that while the 12 GB version will not arrive along with the 500 GB version, the delay will not be significant. We definitely expect to see it in stores before Diwali.
