77PR wins Nintendo UK contract

London based agency 77PR has been appointed to handle Nintendo UK’s consumer lifestyle PR.

The company previously worked with Nintendo on the Wii U’s launch in December 2012. From this point on it will also handle consumer press relations regarding game and hardware launches.

Specialist and technology press enquiries will continue to be handled in-house.

"We wanted to find an agency who could work effectively and efficiently as an extension of our in house team,” Nintendo’s Jo Bartlett stated. The team at 77 has proven its ability to work alongside us and our other partner agencies in an integrated and seamless fashion and we’re keen to see what more they can do."

Nintendo currently works with a number agencies including BD Network, Candy Space, MEC and Karmarama.
