All 20 Premier League grounds to feature in FIFA 15 as EA extends partnership

EA and the Premier League have extended their partnership until the end of the 2018/2019 season.

As the league’s Official Sports Technology Partner, EA will among other things now sponsor the new Goal Decision System and the official Fantasy Premier League game.

For FIFA 15 it means that all 20 Premier League grounds will now feature (including the mighty St Mary’s pictured above) complete with authentic representations of animated LED and advertising boards, as well as the full 3D head scans of over 200 league players.

The game will also use broadcast quality overlay graphics” that very much resemble the way the beautiful game is presented on TV.

The Goal Decision System will feature in-game, too.

We’re extremely pleased to announce the extension of our partnership with the Premier League, the most played league in EA Sports FIFA,” EA COO Peter Moore said. It brings our award-winning game to new levels of authenticity and realism, and enables fans to immerse themselves in the drama and emotion of the league. And as a life-long Liverpool FC fan, I know exactly how that feels!”

Premier League chief exec Richard Scudamore added: EA Sports is a long term licensee of the Premier League and we are extremely pleased to extend our existing agreements with them, and to add new elements to our partnership including their sponsorship of the Goal Decision System.

They have worked with our clubs to enhance the Premier League element of FIFA 15 like never before and, combined with their sponsorship of the EA Sports Player Performance Index and our Fantasy Premier League game, they continue to engage with football fans in a variety of innovative and exciting ways.”
