The high-end free-to-play shooter Hawken launches in December and will likely arrive amidst huge fanfare after the game’s launch trailers scored millions of YouTube views within hours.

Plus publisher Meteor Entertainment, which is releasing Hawken as its first title with developer Adhesive Games, has already scored a Hollywood movie deal.

At London Games Conference, Meteor CEO Mark Long will offer up a guide to how the firm is using transmedia to shape both the game and the property.

The talk will look at pushing storytelling into marketing, creating worlds where consumers track down story elements across multiple media, and building closer, more rewarding relations between media producers and consumers.

The London Games Conference takes place on November 21st at One Wimpole Street, London.

Meteor is platinum partner of the event, joined by 6waves as gold partner. More high-profile sponsorship opportunities are available – to find out more, contact Lesley.Blumson@intentmedia.co.uk.

Tickets to LGC currently cost 199 ahead of the October Early Bird delegate rate – delegates who buy at this rate will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of five Apple TVs.
