Amiqus supports ‘Business Woman of the Year’ category at MCV’s Women in Games Awards 2019

The MCV Women in Games Awards returns for a 5th year running on Friday June 28th. And this year we’re pleased to announce that recruitment experts Amiqus are supporting the event and will be presenting the Business Woman of the Year award to the winner on the big day.

The shortlist for this year’s Business Woman of the Year is as follows:

  • – Lottie Bevan, Weather Factory
  • – Catherine Bygrave, Activision Blizzard
  • – Sara Grover, WB Games UK
  • – Ann Hurley, Testronic
  • – Kat Osman, Lick PR
  • – Kirsty Rigden, FuturLab

Liz Prince, Business Manager at Amiqus & Founder of Putting The G Into Gaming told us: “Events like the MCV Women in Games Awards that promote the great female talent in games are incredibly important, as we as an industry look to improve levels of diversity across the board. Having launched the G Into Gaming campaign a year ago, Amiqus is fully supportive of any initiative that recognises and rewards women in games – both those at the top of their game and those in early careers.

“We look forward to seeing all the brilliant women in games next month for a celebration of our industry’s great female role models.”

Following on from last year’s brilliantly-received event, we’re once again working in partnership with Facebook on the awards, with the company hosting us once again at their London office.
