EA game prices have received another updwards adjustment, but while the earlier hikethat caused a bit of an uproar was a strategic decision by the publisher, this time it’s due to unfavourable foreign exchange rates.
FIFA 14 is now priced Rs 3,799 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and Rs 2,799 on PC, up from Rs 3,499 and Rs 2,499 respectively.
Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals are now Rs 3,799 on consoles and PC, up from the previous price of Rs 2,499.
Meanwhile retailer Game4u has just announced a new preorder promotion for the digital PC version of Battlefield 4. Those preordering via downloads4u will receive a Steelseries QcK Mass mouspad, in addition to the China Rising expansion.
Earlier this month, Sony also raised pricesfor upcoming PS3 games from Rs 2,999 to Rs 3,499.
FIFA 14 is a little over a week from release. It arrives on 27th September for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, PSP and PS Vita.
