Another re-release planned for Resident Evil 4 as it hits PC

Capcom has unveiled a PC re-release for Resident Evil 4.

Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition will be released on PC on February 28th and cost €19.99 in Europe, where unlike in other territories it will also get a physical release to accompany its arrival on Steam.

It promises 60fps gameplay (PC power dependent, of course) and stunning HD” visuals. Also included are Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, leaderboards and cloud saving support.

A Steam campaign will kick off later today with early access perks such as a digital artbook and soundtrack available.

A complete visual overhaul has been performed to bring this revered title to the highest graphical quality ever,” Capcom said. Fully optimized for the wide screen, texts have been sharpened and textures have been upgraded on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.”

The game has been available on PC before, but was widely panned for the poor quality of the conversion.
