This Thursday, March 8, will see the 16th MCV Awards ceremony take place at The Brewery, London. We’re delighted to reveal that Belong will be sponsoring the Indie Games Publisher of the Year category.
Belong offer a series of arena’s around the country that people can visit to play games with or against their friends in a friendly atmosphere. The first Belong Gaming Arena opened in Manchester in July 2016 at the Trafford Centre’s GAME store, but they now have arenas in London, Glasgow, Milton Keynes and Plymouth.
In addition to sponsoring our Indie Games Publisher of the Year category, Belong will also set up a bespoke arena at the MCV Awards for guests to get competitive. Come on down and prove your chops in one of the games on offer.
Belong has grown from strength to strength recently, and while they’re best known for the arenas that bear their name, they’re also responsible for the Insomnia events, big gaming expos that run twice a year. Closely tied to GAME, although an independent business, they’re now operating an increasing amount of gaming spaces up and down the country.
