Bethesda announces Roy Campbell as new UK managing director

Bethesda Softworks has announced a new UK managing director, Roy Campbell, who will be joining the publisher’s UK team in the London office, overseeing the UK and Irish markets.

With 30 years of experience in the video game industry, Campbell has been consulting with Bethesda for the last year, and will pick up his new role immediately, reporting directly to Sean Brennan, the European managing director. Campbell is best known for roles with THQ, Rage, Virgin, Infogrames UK and City Interactive, in a career that has seen in involved in several top level decisions across the UK games industry.

“Roy brings great gravitas, experience and knowledge from his many years in the gaindustry and we feel confident that he can lead the UK team very successfully across all areas of the business”, said Brennan.

"It’s an honour to join Bethesda at such an exciting time. They had a great 2017 and, with the year ahead, I know that 2018 will be even bigger and better”, added Campbell. “The UK team is full of amazingly talented individuals who are ready to meet the challenges of the years ahead. I look forward to working alongside such a passionate team and helping them accomplish countless successes”.
