Bleeding Heart announce Emulator 2011

Bleeding Heart, an ORGANISATION, are getting ready to host Emulator 2011, a ten-day festival celebrating classic arcade gaming in Brisbane next month.

Emulator will carry the theme of arcade games from 1978-1986, and will play host to an art exhibition, industry nights, arcade challenge evenings with competitions, plus local indie game developer showcases.

The event will be held in the School of Arts building in Fortitude Valley from September 19th to 30th, and Bleeding Heart will be using the event to contribute funding to the Starlight Foundation.

Attendees who subscribe to the Emulator 2011 mailing list before 21st August will also go in the running to receive a double-pass to the event’s VIP night on 20th September.

Bleeding Heart is a social enterprise hub which was founded in 2008 as a ‘profit for purpose’ company, and combines an art gallery, retail space and cafe.
