Capcom aims high with Monster Hunter & MvC

Capcom is confident that Marvel Vs Capcom 3 will notch up some two million sales worldwide when it arrives in the Spring.

According to the Japanese firm’s recent financial presentation, it also expects Monster Hunter Freedom 3 to sell through around 3.6 million units in Japan on its release next month.

Forecasts aside, Capcom also discussed its recent acquisition of Blue Castle Games. No further developer deals are on the cards, says the company, but it’s not ruling anything out: "We want to enlarge our development line. Doing this will involve increasing our own workforce, as well as forming alliances with external game development companies."

With thanks to VG247 and Joystiq.
