Castle Crashers Remastered heads to Xbox One this week

Castle Crashers Remastered will launch on Xbox One this week, developer The Behemoth has announced.

The studio’sofficial blogreveals the remastered edition will release September 9thon Microsoft’s current-gen console for $14.99, and The Behemoth is generously offering the title for free to any Xbox Live Gold member that owns the original Castle Crashers on Xbox 360.

Castle Crashers Remastered includes 1080p visuals, 60fps, a new Back Off Barbarian Mode, and some crucial online performance upgrades. The studio also notes the non-remastered Xbox 360 release is set to hit the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility lineup at some point.

No word on when thepreviously announcedPC version is expected to arrive.
