CoD: Infinite Warfare is back on top of the charts

Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may be suffering year-on-year, but that hasn’t stopped it reclaiming top spot in the UK Top 40.

Last week’s No.1, FIFA 17, drops a place this week ahead of fellow EA title Battlefield 1, which climbs one spot to 3rd.

There are two new entries in the Top 10 this week, with Microsoft’s Dead Rising 4 debuting in 5th place, which is two places better than its predecessor Dead Rising 3 back in 2013.

Also debuting is Sony’s The Last Guardian in 7th. Team Ico’s previous title, Shadow of the Colossus, managed to claim No.1 in its first week on PS2 back in 2006. Before that, Ico debuted in 15th in 2002.

Here’s the Top 10 for the week ending December 10th:

  1. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Activision)
  2. FIFA 17 (EA)
  3. Battlefield 1 (EA)
  4. Final Fantasy XV (Square Enix)
  5. Dead Rising 4 (Capcom)
  6. Watch Dogs 2 (Ubisoft)
  7. The Last Guardian (Sony)
  8. Pokemon Sun (Nintendo)
  9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (Bethesda)
  10. Pokemon Moon (Nintendo)
