A second cricket game is on the way to consoles and PC later this year.
Home Entertainment Suppliers has announced Don Bradman Cricket 14, which will be out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year. That puts it directly up against 505 Games’ delayed Ashes Cricket 2013, which was recently delayed until November.
Don Bradman is widely regarded as the greatest Aussie batsman of all time.
The game has apparently been in development for four years. It promises complete 360 shot control for batting and bowling, realistic ball physics, an in-depth fielding system, dynamic weather, career mode and – the Aussies will love this – an appeal and electronic review system.
"It is indeed an honour to be able to bring the greatest player to a technology savvy generation of fans in what promises to be the greatest cricket game of all time," HES MD Sebastian Giompaolo stated.
