More evidence has appeared supporting claims that Blizzard is moving into console development, starting with Diablo III.
Blizzard is seeking a ‘PS3 specialist’ to join the Diablo team, as detailed by a job listing on the company’s website.
The listing specifies that a senior software engineer will be “responsible for overseeing PS3 architecture design as well as other PS3-specific game code development to maximise platform performance.”
The successful applicant will “design, implement, and maintain game systems to work on the PlayStation 3.”
Blizzard told MCV earlier this year that Diablo III could potentially come to consoles.
Blizzard has suggested Diablo III could arrive on PC later this year, but have not given a solid date.
