Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box revs its engine

EA has announced a brand new version of Criterion’s popular Burnout Paradise for both Xbox 360 and PS3 that is heading to the shelves in February next year.

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box will include both of the major bits of DLC received for the game so far – namely the gameplay update Cagney and the all new Bike patch which bought two-wheeled fun to the franchise for the first time.

In addition, it will also include the upcoming Paradise Party update, which will introduce a number of offline multiplayer modes to the title. On top of that, the Party update will also include a number of gameplay tweaks including the ability to restart races and, on PS3, the brand new Burnout Pradise Network, which enables players to keep track of friends and Burnout news within the game.

Criterion’s senior producer Pete Lake said of the release: Whether you’re an experienced player or a gaming novice, Burnout Paradise is a game that anyone can enjoy. With The Ultimate Box, we aimed to deliver the most fun, high quality and high value experience possible to players both online and in the living room.”
