E3 08: Europe and US to get simultaneous Home beta

Whilst Sony’s PS3 conference

failed to offer any additional concrete information

regarding an arrival date for its much-hyped PS3 social network service Home, SCEE boss David Reeves has at least assured Europe that it will get access to the promised beta at the same time the US does.

It’s common for the European PSN network to receive games and new content quite a while after it’s arrived in North America – fortunately, this will apparently not be the case with Home.

Reeves went on to add the release date for the beta is still autumn this year, as has been previously asserted, and added that he expects SCEI to announce a final release date shortly.
