Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D finally gets release date

One of the most anticipated games for Nintendo 3DS, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, has finally got a UK release date.

Konami’s title will be released on March 8th. The box art has also been revealed.

Gamers had hoped initially that the game would arrive alongside Nintendo’s handheld in March of last year.

When that failed to happen, all hopes turned to a pre-Christmas release. MCV then revealed in May that Konami had hoped to have the game out in November – which, again, failed to materialise.

But a March 8th release puts the title squarely in the middle of the busy Easter sales period shared by other releases Mass Effect 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Resident Evil: Racoon City and Max Payne 3.
