Miitomo has been downloaded 3m times

Nintendo has revealed just how well its first foray into the mobile gaming space is doing.

The platform holder took to Twitter (below) to announce that Miitomo has been downloaded three million times worldwide. This follows the app’s launch in the UK and American markets yesterday (March 31st).

Miitomo was released in Japan on March 17th, and within a week of hitting the market in that region had been downloaded one million times.

This is the first product of Nintendo’s partnership with mobile giant DeNA, which was announced in March 2015.
