NBA Jam goes free on PS3 and 360

Having previously announced that its upcoming reinvention of the NBA Jam series would be exclusive to the Wii, EA has now revealed that the game will be also be coming out on Xbox 360 and PS3… for free!

Well, for free as long as you’ve paid out 49.99 for a copy of NBA Elite 11.
Due out on October 8th, NBA Elite II will include in the box a one-time download code that will allow users to access three NBA Jam game modes – Play Now, Classic Campaign and Online.

NBA Elite 11 is going to change the way basketball videogames are played,” EA Sports’ VP of marketing Jordan Edelstein stated.

The addition of three free downloadable modes of the award winning NBA Jam is an unprecedented value add to a product that is already set to revolutionize the basketball videogame category.”

NBA Jam has not yet got a release date on Wii.
