Resident Evil freebies for PS+ members

In celebration of the series’ 15th anniversary, Sony has offered free access to three classic Resident Evil titles for members of its PlayStation Plus service in the US.

For the next two weeks users will be able to play PSOne trio Resident Evil Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 for as long as they wish, completely free of charge.

In addition, there will also be 50 per cent off both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code Veronica.

This month’s full games trials are EA’s Bulletstorm, THQ’s Saints Row 2, Disney’s Bolt and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Plants vs Zombies, Astro Tripper and Altered Beast will also be given away for free.

There’s also 50 per cent off the price of nine of LucasArts Star Wars titles for PSP.
