Certain Playstation Network members have reported receiving $10 in store credit from Sony for their apparent loyalty.
PSN users on Twitter and popular gaming forum Neogaf have claimed to receive the funds accompanied by this message:
"Thank you for being a loyal customer and fan of the PlayStation Network. As a token of our appreciation, we’ve sent you $10 to spend on the PlayStation Store!"
The $10 will expire on March 5th, and so far the promo appears to be restricted to North America. That said, a handful of PSN users claimed a similar promotion that offered up a $5 store credit took place over the past weekend.
Sony just announced the pants off the PS4 earlier today, so it seems sensible for the firm to butter up the more fanatical portion of its current customer base.
