Sony in discussions regarding exclusivity, according to leaked document

[Update] Plans ahead for PS3 Dreamcast ports

UPDATE: The original story, published September last year, can now be confirmed. Dreamcast ports will be arriving on XBLA as well as PSN. Visit Joystiq and Kotaku for more.

ORIGINAL: SCEA is currently in discussions to bring a number of Dreamcast titles exclusively to PSN, MCV can reveal.

Though the releases could yet go multiplatform, Sony is considering signing a dedicated “long-term” exclusivity deal for the titles in return for offering additional marketing support.

As part of the possible agreement, Sony is currently cherry picking its preferred titles from the Dreamcast’s back-catalogue.
