Microsoft is set to take over the whole of Leicester Square this weekend, as it embarks on a major consumer promotional campaign.
The Leicester Square event – which forms part of the platform holder’s wider Xbox Trial tour – will be a film-themed consumer experience and puts the spotlight on its two largest casual titles Lips and You’re In The Movies.
The event, which runs from October 31st to November 2nd, ties in with this year’s London Games Festival and London Film Festival. The firm will also be showing off other major Christmas hopes, including Scene It? Box Office Smash, Quantum of Solace and Lego Batman.
The Xbox Trial tour is also set to visit Glasgow (November 8th – 9th), Newcastle (November 15th – 16th), Sheffield (November 22nd – 23rd) and Bristol (November 29th – 30th), and will see the Xbox street team take over local shopping centres, cinemas, city centres and student unions to promote the titles.
