Date set for Arkham City

Publisher Warner Interactive has at last confirmed a firm release date for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC action outing Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The game will be released in the UK on October 21st.

It follows in the footsteps of Rocksteady Studios’ surprise hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, which in 2009 rocked the market due to its spectacular gameplay, faithfulness and respect to the licence and strong commercial performance.

The game carries a Metacritic average of of 92 per cent.

Arkham City takes the atmosphere of the first game and transfers it to the sprawling streets of Gotham City, with roughly five times the play area of the first game.
