Dead Rising: Case Zero tops 300k downloads

Capcom’s Dead Rising: Case Zero has been played by over 300,000 consumers after only a week on sale.

The downloadable prequel to the highly anticipated Dead Rising 2 has already seen over 328,290 entries appear on its public leaderboards, according to Gamasutra.

Case Zero gives players the chance to try out some of the weapons and game mechanics that will be available in Dead Rising 2. The game features an original story that gives an insight into the background of the new protagonist.

Any experience or items acquired in Case Zero are transferable to the upcoming retail game, which is due for release on September 24th.
