Don Bradman Cricket 14 demo released, game delayed to 2014

Big Ant Studios has announced that it will not release Don Bradman Cricket 14 this year, but softened the blow by releasing a playable demo for the game.

In order to bring the best possible game to the market at the best possible time, we have decided to move the date into 2014. We are working to get the game to all markets simultaneously and will advise as soon as we can of an exact release date once it is known,” a statement from the studio read.

The demo, which is part of the latest Don Bradman Cricket Academy update, allows you to practice batting in the nets, but you won’t be able to field, bowl or play in match situations. The Cricket Academy previously only included the game’s character creation and customisation tools.

Don Bradman Cricket Academy is available for PC only and can be downloaded here, but the full game is scheduled for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, with next-gen versions also hinted at.
