Discover how to engage with YouTubers, Twitch streamers and families at next month’s London Games Conference

This year’s London Games Conference is providing delegates with an insight into how video is being used to sell, share and promote games – and the initial line-up of speakers will discuss this from a variety of angles.

The conference takes place on Thursday November 19th at the Congress Centre, London. Tickets are priced at just 249, with the event taking place from 2pm until 7pm. An after show networking party will follow until 9pm.

The first three speakers to be announced are James Beaven, founder of KeyMailer, Andy Robertson, presenter and owner of FamilyGamerTV, and Liam Chivers, founder of OP Talent.

Beaven will present ‘Working With YouTubers and Twitch Streamers’. Having the right influencer play your game at the right time is now a fundamental part of any launch success. But who’s right for your game? How do you find them even when they’re apparently everywhere? Can you afford them? And why don’t they like using email? Beaven answers these questions from the perspective of KeyMailer, a start-up building tools to simplify how YouTube and Twitch streamers work with the games industry and vice versa.

On the same note, Chivers will discuss ‘Special Agents’. The massive audience that the new YouTube celebrities command has meant growing authority and bigger commercial opportunities. OP Talent is a leading talent management agency representing some of the UK’s key gaming influencers like Ali-A and others. Founder of the agency, Chivers will speak about the opportunities and challenges for brands and games.

‘Engaging Families and Children With Video’ will be the subject of Robertson’s presentation. Presenter and owner of FamilyGamer TV, the UK’s leading family gaming YouTube channel, Robertson will outline his audience development strategy which creates the content that families want to engage with. And, as editor of Ask About Games, he will also address issues of child safety.

Further speakers will be announced later this week.
