Trade website GamesIndustry.biz has thrown its weight behind the upcoming London Games Conference.
LGC is the essential business forum and networking event for decision makers within the interactive entertainment sector, examining the challenges within a fast-changing market and new business models.
GameStop, Valve, OnLive and PopCap are just some of the many speakers scheduled to speak at the November 10th conference.
GamesIndustry.biz has come on board as media partner and will cover the event on-site, along with Intent Media publications MCV and Develop.
London Games Conference has quickly established itself as an ideal event for the industry to network and hear about the future of the business from top executives,” said Eurogamer managing director Rupert Loman.
We’re looking forward to being a media partner of the event for the first time this year.”
The annual LGC this year takes place at a new venue – One Wimpole Street – and features for the first time interactive voting during the session. The event kicks off at 4pm for four hours of incisive keynotes and talks about the digital issues the games industry faces, with perspectives from retailers, digital distributors and publishers. The conference is followed by dinner and networking.
London Games Conference has a new venue, its best ever line-up and a powerful set of partners,” said Stuart Dinsey, managing director at event organiser Intent Media.
Adding GamesIndustry.biz as a media partner further demonstrates the cross-sector appeal and international status of the event," he added.
