Hearthstone surpasses DotA 2, collects $20m monthly revenue

According to the latest research conducted bySuperData, Hearthstone dominates the digital collectible card games global market, which is set to hit an all-time high of $1.3 billion this year, with a monthly revenue of $20 million.

The research team noted that Hearthstone managed to transform the entire digital collectible card gaming landscape after earning more than their three closest competitors last year and likened Hearthstone’s incredible success to the impact of World of Warcraft on the entire online gaming scene some ten years ago.
