Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will, as everyone had suspected, be released worldwide on November 8th.
The online arm of retailer GAME is now carrying a splash page for the game. Customers can also pre-order the title.
The game was blown wide open last week when Kotaku got hold of a treasure trove of information about the title, including plot details and images. This was then followed by the official release of four short trailers.
The big question now is whether EA will decide to match Activision’s release day and date with its own military FPS contender – Battlefield 3.
MCV reported last week that such a showdown remains a possibility, though EA may decide to move frost and get the game on the High Street a few days before COD.
