For some, TyLoo was just another team from Asia. For others, TyLoo was the monster team from China that had dominated the Asian scene for months. People didn’t give TyLoo a chance against the teams at Malmo, they were a free win and an easy prediction. No one expected them to win a single map, and it looked just like that on day one of Dreamhack Malmo when they lost to Luminosity Gaming. However, the next day they showed perseverance, dedication, passion, and the capability to compete at a high level. They exceeded expectations and went on to take revenge against the Major champions, Luminosity Gaming. Their top 8 placement means a whole lot more than just the $10,000 prize that they won. They made a statement to the whole world, and opened the eyes of an entire region.
