Exploding Kittens has taken just over a week to become the most backed Kickstarter project in the crowdfunding site’s history.
The Kickstarter campaign launched January 20th with a $10,000 goal. Eight days later and still with 21 days remaining, the project has seen 114,477 backers pledge $4,504,791 (at time of writing).
"The Most Backed Campaign in Kickstarter History" has nothing to do with: Money. Press. Campaign Updates. Fancy Graphics. Stretch Goals. Ability to invent new words in titles.” the team posted.
"It has everything to do with you. You wonderful people have come together to form the largest community in Kickstarter history, and the numbers keep rising."
