Far Cry 3 release pushed back to November

Ubisoft has delayed the release of its upcoming first-person shooter Far Cry 3 to November.

The game, scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, was initially slated for release on 4th September, but the developers felt they need more time to create the best possible gameplay experience”.

The new release date stands at 30th November, and according to Ubisoft, this release date is for all three platforms.

In the past, PC versions of Ubisoft games have been releasing slightly later than their console counterparts. Case in point: Ghost Recon: Future Solider. The console version hit stores last month, while the PC versions will release on 29th June.

Ubisoft also announced the release date for Just Dance 4 for Wii, Kinect and Move – 2nd October, while Rocksmith will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on 26th September, with the PC version set to follow on 19th October.
