FIFA 14 demo on 10th September

A playable demo for FIFA 14 will be released on 10th/11th September, EA announced at Gamescom today.

The demo will make its way to the Xbox 360 and PC on the 10th, but the PS3 version will arrive on the Indian PSN Store on the 11th.

EA has said that this year’s game on current systems is the biggest FIFA yet, but impressed most with its showcase for the next-gen version, which will be available as a launch title for PS4 and Xbox One, with exclusive Ultimate Team content for the latter.

The publisher also announced that those migrating from current to next-gen versions of FIFA 14 won’t lose out. Ultimate Team progress, EA Sports Football Club level, XP, Seasons progress, Virtual Pro, and selected Career Mode rewards will all be transferrable from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3 to PS4.

Meanwhile, Konami is set to release a demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 some time this month. A firm date should be announced at Gamescom.

FIFA 14 arrives on 27th September to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Check out the new Patrick Stewart-narrated gameplay trailer.
