Final Fantasy Explorers heading to Europe, North America

A western release of 3DS action RPG Final Fantasy Explorers is in the works for Europe and North America, Square Enix has confirmed.

The game will launch in both territories for Nintendo’s handheld in January 2016 – validating the two trademarks filed by Square Enix in US and Europe that surfaced last month.

Final Fantasy Explorers was initially announced at E3 2014 for an exclusive release in Japan, and debuted in the country last December. Players get together in groups of four and travel around searching for crystals, battling summon monsters and taking on various jobs.
