Former Q-Games devs releasing new title Nova-111 this August

Curve Digital is publishing a new game from former Q-Games devs Eddie Lee and Kalin entitled Nova-111.

The duo – now working as Funktronic Labs – are best known for the PixelJunk series of downloadable games.

Nova-111 is a sci-fi title that can be played in real-time or through turn-based strategy.

It is coming to PS4, PS3, Vita and PC on August 25th, Xbox One on August 28th with a Wii U launch planned for the future.

With Nova-111, we really wanted to create a fresh spin on the turn-based strategy genre and we have been completely blown away by the support and reception that we have received so far,” said Funktronic Labs co-founder Eddie Lee. We can’t wait to see what players think of our game.”

Curve MD Jason Perkins added: The team at Funktronic labs had an awesome vision with Nova-111 and when I first played the game, I was genuinely impressed with the quality, design and game mechanics they had created. We have had a blast helping them bring the game to consoles and we hope everyone enjoys exploring outer space when the game lands on August 25th.”
