GAME appoints new finance director

Leading UK games retailer GAME has announced that current group finance director David Thomas is leaving his post and will be replaced in July by Ben White.

Barratt leaves to become group finance director at Barratt Developments. White will leave his current post of group reporting and investor relations director on July 2nd. He first joined the firm in 2005.

I am delighted to welcome Ben to the board as group finance director,” GAME chairman Peter Lewis stated. He brings invaluable experience from his variety of senior financial roles within the group and elsewhere.’

GAME chief executive Lisa Morgan added: Ben’s comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our business will be of great value to the board. He has built an excellent reputation both internally and externally during his time with the group, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him in his new role as we build on the success of our business.”
