Organised by Intent Media (publisher of MCV), the Awards will take place at the Soho Revue Bar and will be voted for by the industry itself. The event will be attended by over 200 games journalists.
To celebrate the event, a host of special content is online now examining every aspect of the Games Media Awards.

Due to pressure of space combined with high demand, seats in the main auditorium (where the GMAs will be hosted) are restricted to the media for the duration of the awards themselves.
For this period, holders of Trade Tickets will watch the event on a big screen in an upstairs bar. Food will be served and, of course, drinks are free.
Trade Tickets do, however, get you into the pre-awards reception (starting at 7:00 pm) and post-awards party (ending at 2:00 am). Restrictions on access to the main room will only remain in place while the awards are being presented. For the rest of the time, it’s a full-on network-fest.
